Manufacturing a transfer line conveyor, a first-ever for CSPL
A well-established name in the field of conveyor manufacturing, approached us with an engineering drawing to manufacture a transfer line conveyor. Their Korean team was assigned to assist us in this production. CSPL's scope was limited to manufacturing of the conveyor. The installation was to be taken care of by the client. It was the first time ever that CSPL was getting into conveyor manufacturing.
The Execution
Based on the engineering drawing received by us, CSPL team manufactured all the parts of the conveyor. After that, they were assembled together as a segmented conveyor. The conveyor was then installed at the CSPL facility for testing.
The Result
Even though team CSPL was manufacturing a conveyor for the first time, all tolerance levels prescribed by the client were achieved in the first attempt itself. The perfection of the engineering drawing received from the client made it possible. While we were given 40 days to complete the assignment, we were able to deliver the conveyor, 3 days in advance.
