THE INCEPTION
Late Mr. Y. N. Chaphekar laid the foundation of this journey with a humble Tool Room
THE NEXT GENERATION
Mr. Padmakar Chaphekar and his three brothers started supplying tools to giants like ABB, Siemens and Crompton
THE CONSOLIDATION
Some of the biggest industry names like IBM, Compton Greaves, L&T and Bajaj came on-board as regular clients
THE EXPANSION
- Supply of assemblies like Hand Brake, Window Regulator etc. was initiated to Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors
- The Mumbai division of the company was launched by the name Continental Suspensions Pvt. Ltd.
- Export of side car for scooters and motorcycles began to the US and Germany
THE APPRECIATION
Initiated building of a plant for manufacturing load bodies, encouraged by the appreciation given by Tata Motors
THE DIVERSIFICATION
- Started the Pune plant of Chaphekar Suspensions Pvt. Ltd. (formerly Continental Suspensions Pvt. Ltd.)
- Started building capacity to serve non-automotive industries as well
THE EVOLUTION
Pioneered an Auto Electrical Division to introduce Windshield Washer system
THE INNOVATION
Launched 'Yashwant' an in-house developed brand providing agriculture trailers
THE PROGRESSION
An additional state of the art facility was installed at the Pune unit, with one of the largest load body paint shops
THE EXTENSION
Started supply of mud-guards, fuel tanks, tool boxes and battery cases to BEML (a GOI undertaking) for Tatra Truck, which was then supplied to the Indian Army
THE IMPROVISATION
Launched 'Easy Step', a brand for household ladders
THE CONTINUATION
Started the supply of load body to Bajaj Auto for their mini-pickup (GC 1000)
THE DEVELOPMENT
Added 7 tank solar-heated pre-treatment with painting and powder-coating facility
THE CAPACITY BUILDING
Started manufacturing 'Above Ground Fuel Tanks' for Western International Inc.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
Started the second manufacturing facility of CSPL at Chakan to cater to the requirements of the export market
THE ENHANCEMENTS
Added the shot blasting setup at the manufacturing units to cater to export demands of countries with harsh weather conditions

Invested in the state of the art MIG Welding Machines by FRONIUS, the market leader
